Have You Tried @generp's Crumble Cookies?
It's been already sometime since I had my first taste at @generp's new Crumble Cookies, but I finally had the chance to make a little review of these amazing treats!
To start off, I know my friend keeps up with the trends. That's why she's making these cookies, but I also know she makes amazing desserts since I have had her doughnuts and other kinds of cakes before. I knew these were going to be good, but I didn't know how good!
Let me tell you!
After having both kinds of cookies, my verdict is a solid 8.9/10. The relationship between price and quality is solid.
The traditional cookie comes with chocolate chips, some more cookies on top and it is fluffy. It crumbles in your mouth and the flavor is just a piece of childhood on steroids. It is a comforting flavor that is not too sweet, but it helps you calm of those sweet-tooth cravings!
Extra points goes to the recipe since it withstands time. I had another one of these cookies 3 days after I had purchased them since no one wanted to eat the last cookie at home and to my surprise, the cookie had retained its texture and flavor. I know this is easy in all these brand cookies, but on a homemade sweet? That's some really cool feat to achieve without any added substances to prevent the cookie from getting soggy.
And if you thought this was already good, then, I have some else for you. The Rocky Cookie is basically a brownie made into a cookie. In this second version, the baker surpasses her original attempt by bringing a mix of ingredients that knocks it off the park.
The added factor here is a bit of crunchy bits in addition to the chewy brownie texture. Marshmallows in the mix caramelize when the dough is baked and end as a surprise in every bit of the cookie. This bit if sweet texture add another good note to the experience of having these cookies!
I know for a fact that there's a third cookie in development and I will have it once the tests are done. And of course, I'll bring the review over here.
