The Perfect Pairing of History and Cuisine!

Last week, my husband and I set out to extend our visa at the immigration office. It wasn't far from Phuket Old Town, an area renowned for its rich cultural heritage and delicious restaurants. After successfully renewing our visa, we decided to take a stroll around the old town in search of a tasty meal.
We parked the car near Soi Rommanee, a popular alley known for its Sino-Portuguese-style buildings that attract tourists from all over the world. As we walked, we came across a small sign introducing a restaurant and cafe that promised to offer a unique dining experience. Intrigued, we walked inside and were pleasantly surprised by what we found.
The restaurant and cafe was housed in a beautifully preserved building, with two floors that felt warm and inviting. There was even a large well at the side of the building, with a red brick edge that still served a functional purpose. In the past, each house would have their own well for household use, and this restaurant had kept the tradition alive.
We decided to sit outside, in an area that looked like a rock garden. It was breezy and comfortable, and there was even a roof above the dining area for when the sun got too hot. Additionally, the open-air dining area offered many angles for taking photos, making it a popular spot for selfies-loving girls.
The interior of the restaurant was decorated with a bold color scheme of red and blue, creating a striking and memorable atmosphere. However, we opted to sit outside, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the old town and the scent of delicious food wafting from the kitchen.
After taking in the charming atmosphere of the restaurant, we finally decided to place our order. I went for the Pad Thai with fresh prawns, which was a unique twist on the classic dish. To my delight, it was delicious and came in a generous portion. My husband, on the other hand, decided to try the gyoza topped with cream. I'm not sure what type of cream it was, but it tasted amazing nonetheless.
For our drinks, we ordered a strawberry smoothie, which was a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. It was the perfect refreshment on a warm day in Phuket Old Town. Despite the delicious options, we didn't order too much food as we weren't feeling particularly hungry.
We savored our meal, enjoying the blend of flavors and the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was cooked to perfection, and the service was impeccable. We were impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs, who had successfully combined tradition and modernity to create a truly unique dining experience.
