Hey, bloggers! I finally managed to go to a spot that had been on my wishlist for a while: El Rodeo Grill in the east side of Barquisimeto. Obviously, if you go to a place that specializes in parrilla (grilled platter), you have to order parrilla!
The Meat Feast (and everything else) 🍖
I went with my mom (the best food partner!) and we ordered one of those parrillas that practically comes with the whole menu, perfect for sharing!
It had a bit of everything: beef, chicken, pork, morcilla (blood sausage), chorizo (sausage), plus the dream sides: arepas with natilla (creamy cheese spread), yuca (cassava), and a salad.
How was the food? Look, let's be honest: IT WAS INCREDIBLE. Seriously, the flavor is top-notch. The beef was super tender, the pork was spot-on... Every bite was an endless "Mmmmmm." Zero complaints about the taste.
The Big Topic: Price vs. Happiness? 😅
And this is where the "but" comes in... or the "reality check," whatever you want to call it.
While we were devouring the food (because we couldn't stop!), I kept thinking, "Okay, this is spectacular, but WOW, it's expensive!"
El Rodeo Grill is a pretty costly place. I feel like it's one of those places you go to once a month (or year, depending!) to really treat yourself and celebrate something special.

¡Hola, bloggers! Les cuento que por fin pude ir a un sitio que tenía en mi wishlist hace rato: El Rodeo Grill en el este de Barquisimeto. Obviamente, si vas a un sitio que se especializa en parrilla, ¡tienes que pedir parrilla!
El Festín de Carne (y de todo lo demás) 🍖
Fui con mi mamá y nos pedimos una de esas parrillas que traen el menú completo, ¡para compartir!
Traía de todo: carne, pollo, cochino, morcilla, chorizo, y los acompañantes que son un sueño: arepas con natilla, yuca y una ensalada.
ESTABA INCREÍBLE. De verdad que el sabor es top. La carne estaba súper tierna, el cochino en su punto... Cada bocado era un "Mmmmmm". Cero quejas en cuanto a sabor.
El Gran Tema: ¿El Precio vs. La Felicidad? 😅
Y aquí es donde viene el pero... o el pincelazo de realidad, como quieran llamarle.
Mientras devorábamos la comida (porque no pudimos parar), no dejé de pensar: "Ok, esto está espectacular, pero ¡qué caro!"
El Rodeo Grill es un lugar bastante costoso. Siento que es de esos lugares a los que vas una vez al mes (o al año, ¡depende!) para darte un súper gusto y celebrar algo.
