Sweet Sunday With Sweet Treats

Occasionally enjoying sweet treats feels special compared to every day we enjoy them.

It turns out I just realized that I haven't eaten donuts for quite a long time. I remember again, the last time I ate it was when I was pregnant at the end of last year. So, it's been about 1 year.

I didn't think I could even resist eating sweet donuts for that long. 😅 I think right now I need sweet intake, the most important thing is not too much.

So, on Sunday afternoon, my husband offered me a sweet donut from J.C.O. He said it had been a long time and I needed sweet treats for fun.

I didn't refuse either. He is right. That's been a long time. And it will feel special because I don't often enjoy sweet foods.

Actually, I went to J.C.O too because I wanted to drink hot chocolate. Menstruation makes me want to sip hot chocolate. And oh, the donuts are a bonus.

J.C.O is better known for its donut products that rival Dunkin' Donuts in my city. In my opinion, donuts from J.C.O have a softer texture than donuts from the Dunkin'donuts brand.

Apart from donuts, J.C.O also provides drinks. We can order chocolate or coffee. As for coffee, I don't think they are good at coffee. But good in chocolate.

Interior Design

J.C.O's interior design itself has a warm, cozy vibe. Although, on the first floor, the center of their activities, it was very cold! I can't even sit for long on the first floor and usually I takeaway donuts home.

After paying and taking my order, I went up to the 2nd floor for the first time. It turned out that the 2nd floor was better and the room AC was not too cold. Great!

Here we can see that at the edge of the room, ornamental plants are placed in large pots.

The roof at the edge of the room is fitted with glass material so that sunlight can enter.

In other parts, J.C.O consistently uses warm colors and materials. Starting from the floor, walls and roof. All of them are dominated by warm and beautiful wood tones.

For the walls, J.C.O chose natural stone colors that still blend well with the floor and roof.

From the 2nd floor of course we can see the street view. I like drinking warm drinks while enjoying the passing vehicles on the surrounding streets. It seems like there are lots of creative ideas coming.

Sweet Treats

This time I didn't buy a box of donuts. I only bought 2 donuts. One with blueberry flavor, the other with matcha flavor. For the third donut, which looks without toppings is actually a free donut every time we order a drink there.

My favorite is the matcha flavor. It has a unique taste with bitterness from the matcha powder itself. Meanwhile, in the filling there is sweet cream.

For drinks, I ordered hot chocolate. It's not too sweet and it's really delicious to accompany an already sweet donut.

In fact, I only ate one donut, and the rest was for my husband 😅 I was satisfied with one donut and a cup of delicious hot chocolate according to my taste that was not creamy and not too sweet. ❤️

What a beautiful Sunday. It turns out that by giving something distance, it will give that something a more special feeling when we meet that something again.

Donuts will taste better in fact, after I haven't had donuts for a long time. Maybe I will feel ordinary and nothing special if I eat donuts too often.

And oh, please remember about our health if you want lots of donuts. Just enjoy some and don't forget to practice being active too so there is no guilt for those sweet treats. ❤️
