2026: Sunday's best
🌿
It was Sunday, and I finally did many things that I had planned for a long time.

I woke up early in the morning and decided to walk far. I walked about 18,000 steps. My pace was not fast, just slow but steady. I walked toward CCLEX bridge, enjoying the calm road and the cool air. From there, I continued until I reached Cordova crossing, where the public market is.
Along the way, I needed to use the restroom. I went inside Jollibee even though I didn’t plan to buy anything. I felt shy to use the comfort room without ordering, so I bought hot chocolate instead. Good thing I brought money with me.
After that, I explored the market. I took some photos and enjoyed looking around. I ended up buying fresh bago leaves and ube. I was happy because they are perfect for ginataan sabaw, and bago leaves are hard to find in Lapu-Lapu public market.

I walked back the same path to Marigondon crossing. When I got home, I cooked the bago and ube soup. It tasted really good. I hadn’t eaten that dish for a long time, and it felt comforting.

After breakfast, I did the laundry and hung the clothes outside to dry under the sun. Later, I took a nap and had a strange dream—diamonds, cars, and a serpent. It was very bizarre. I woke up when Rex asked me to help with a GCash transfer.

In the afternoon, I went to my workplace garden. I planted the marcotted kalamansi tree that I bought from the Cordova market. It was already nighttime when I finished.
Before going home, Rex and I had dinner at Ribshack. We enjoyed grilled spareribs, Korean chicken, and unlimited rice. We were very full and satisfied.
After that, it was time to rest. Monday was coming, and it was time to switch back to work mode.
