Annecy a glimpse in the France Alps

For today I invite you along Annecy with its lake, mountains and history is a region with many facets that offer you unforgettable experiences, a charming townin southeaster France. A beautiful place to visit.
It is situated at the northern end of Lake Annecy, just 35 kilometers south of Geneva in Switzerland. It is also known as the “Pearl of the French Alps”.
First of all, a monument from the 12th century once served as a prison and courthouse. It has the shape of a ship's bow and it is located in the heart of the Thiou Canal. It is one of the most photographed spots in Annecy, what I also did last month on a stroll through the time here in Annecy.

A pleasure to walk under arcades and accros flower-line canals early by the river. charmin pastelbuildings and shops on the way.

From the Pont des amours over the Thiou River winds through cobbledstreets, a beautiful viewpoint.

here overlooking the town the Chateau annecy dating from the 12th to 16th centuries.

and here back to the canal side near the Le Glacier des Alps enjoing a fine gelato.
