Never been to Portugal, but probably will travel next year, to Braga, which is NE. Will definitely need to visit the coast in the South, maybe to a roadtrip from Faro to Lisbon.

You should, it is great, where I think that Europe is gorgeous, especially the coastline, from France to Greece. The North has its magic also, but for the old age, I would definitely move South.

Yes, this is an issue with the heat. Sometimes, when I travel in Romania, I feel that people don't like to visit. Most nice sites are pretty empty, even if there is a lot to see and learn from there.
