RE: Birds diving into the water

In Chinese, "打鱼鸟" (dǎ yú niǎo) typically refers to the kingfisher.
Kingfishers are a group of small to medium-sized waterbirds. They have brightly colored plumage (mostly blue-green), a sharp, straight beak, and are skilled at catching fish near water. They often perch on branches or rocks by the water's edge. When they spot prey, they swiftly dive into the water to catch it—hence the name "fisher bird" (literally: "fish-hitting bird").
