Went to the polyclinic for a blood test recently.

最近去综合诊所验血。

Testing for my cholesterol level among other things.

除了其他检查，还测了胆固醇。

I was fasting the night before and was hungry enough but I decided to take a bit of detour to find the pollng station my inlaws need to go to on polling day. It's next to the playground.

前一天晚上我禁食了，肚子饿得不行，但我决定绕道去找我岳父岳母投票日要去的投票站。投票站就在操场旁边。

They have already "RESERVED" the place.

他们已经“预订”了那个位置。

Then I walked to the food centre at Lorong 7 Toa Payoh.

然后我走到大巴窑7巷的熟食中心。

I went to this stall.

我去了这家摊位。

I tried their snacks before.

我以前尝过他们的小吃。

I wanted to try their Hainan Laksa for some time. So I bought a bowl for $4. Not a big bowl. Had a few small pieces of cockles in it. Satisfied enough with a simple breakfast.

我一直想尝尝他们的海南叻沙。所以我花了4新元买了一碗。碗不大，里面只有几小块蛤蜊。作为一顿简单的早餐，已经足够满足了。

Went to get a coffee after that from a different stall. It cost me $1.30 which is probably one of the reasons the queue was long.

之后我去另一家摊位买了杯咖啡。花了1.3新元，这可能是排队很长的原因之一。

Interestingly, they have a plan of the tables in the food centre.

有趣的是，他们有熟食中心桌子的平面图。
