Went to the club for pickleball early morning last Friday.

上周五一大早就去俱乐部打匹克球。

Was trying to get some practice before inter-club friendly games on Monday. Unfortunately, it rained after two games.

本来想在周一俱乐部友谊赛前练习一下。可惜的是，打了两场之后就下雨了。

When the rain was lighter the court was still wet. So I went back to Toa Payoh where there was not a single drop of rain.

雨势稍小的时候，球场还是湿的。所以我回到了大巴窑，那里一滴雨也没有。

I went out to get breakfast passing by the courts where I suggested my friends come to play but nobody was interested.

我出去吃早餐，路过这球场，我建议朋友们来打球，但没人感兴趣。

So I headed to the food centre.

于是我去了熟食中心。

Went to the carrot cake stall and ordered. Was told to wait 45 minutes. Fine. I paid $4.

去了菜头粿摊点了餐。被告知要等45分钟。好吧，我付了4元。

I had nothing better to do anyway. Went to get a coffee and waited.

反正我也没什么事可做。就去买了杯咖啡，等着。

By the time, the pager buzzed me to pick up my food, I almost finished my coffee.

等到传呼机叫我去取餐的时候，我的咖啡都快喝完了。

This is one damn good carrot cake.

这菜头粿真是太好吃了。

I passed by the courts after breakfast going home. Still not occupied.

早餐后回家，路过球场。球场仍然空无一人。

Went home and sat at the computer for few hours before going out for simple dinner at the coffeeshop nearby.

回家后，在电脑前坐了几个小时，然后去附近的咖啡店吃了顿简单的晚餐。

I went to the community club nearby to meet the people with whom I was going to go patrolling the neighbourhood. I saw the community club has a hair cutting course.

我去了附近的社区俱乐部，和那些要一起巡逻社区的人见面。我看到社区俱乐部有一个理发课程。

During patrolling, went through the carparks and shops at Toa Payoh Central and up to the sky garden at one block where I took this picture.

巡逻时，走过大巴窑中心的停车场和商店，也去了一座空中花园，拍了这张照片。
