Was going home from around Beach Road some time back and decided to take the bus and stop at United Square to buy chicken rice back for lunch. I tried to be smart and search online to order from Wee Nam Kee so I could have it ready for me when I got off the bus. I searched online and place my ordered.

前段时间，我从美芝路附近回家，决定坐公车到大华广场买鸡饭当午饭。我自作聪明地在网上搜索了威南记的鸡饭，想着下车就能直接拿到。我上网搜索并下了单。

When I got off the bus, I realised my mistake. Damn, google search showed me a link to Nam Kee which sells chicken rice instead of Wee Nam Kee.

下车后，我才发现自己犯了个错误。糟糕，谷歌搜索结果显示的是南记的鸡饭，而不是威南记。

So, I had to grab a car and go to Upper Thomson Road from Thomson Road. Luckily, that wasn't too far away.

没办法，我只好招车从汤申路到汤申路上段去买。还好，路程不算太远。

The shop selling chicken rice looked old school enough.

那家卖鸡饭的店看起来挺老式的。

I brought back a few packets to my inlaws place which included a steamed chicken rice.

我带了几包鸡饭回岳父母家，包括一份白鸡饭。

And roast chicken rice. Learned a lesson. At least we were still happy enough with the chicken rice.

还有一份烤鸡饭。真是吸取教训了。不过，至少我们吃到了心满意足的鸡饭。

Total cost $26.40.

总共花了$26.40。
