Food chill - Hot pot and grilled meat

My friends and I had the chance to visit the "Food Chill" hotpot and barbecue restaurant in Thon Thai Phu and experience their special mixed hotpot menu. This is an ideal spot for gatherings or cozy meals with family and friends.

The restaurant provides a comfortable seating space with about 20 tables, suitable for both indoor settings with elegant wooden furniture and outdoor areas with convenient plastic chairs. The quality of the space here is sufficient to create a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere while enjoying the meal.

We opted for 2 hotpot tables, each priced at around $40, including a variety of meats such as beef, pork ribs, golden-fried tofu, pork balls, and Vietnamese sausages. Particularly noteworthy is the freshness of the ingredients, sourced near the market and not using frozen meats. This truly accentuates the natural and delicious flavors of the ingredients.

Apart from the meats, the menu also features a wide range of fresh vegetables like morning glory, lettuce, banana blossoms, cowpea, basil, coriander, and instant noodles. This diversity creates a rich and balanced hotpot experience.

The standout feature of the hotpot broth is its sweet and sour flavor, crafted from coconut water, apple juice, tomatoes, and spices such as cinnamon, star anise, and others. This distinctive factor creates a unique and appealing taste for the hotpot.

Especially during winter, enjoying the steaming hot food, dipping each piece of meat into the bubbling broth is indeed a fantastic experience. Immerse yourself in the warm atmosphere and relish the rich flavors of the mixed hotpot; it will undoubtedly make you feel relaxed and content. The standout dish here is the pig's udder, a fantastic dish with a crispy and chewy texture, cooked with butter and garlic, creating an irresistible and aromatic flavor.

Upon arrival, the adjacent table was savoring grilled meat with butter, emanating a delightful aroma that made the space cozy with the heat from the hotpot and the sizzling sound of the grilling meat. The restaurant is adorned with various lanterns, creating a simple yet appealing ambiance, drawing in a large crowd due to its delicious cuisine, despite being tucked away in an alley.

In addition to relishing the various dishes, we also had the delightful experience of the lemon tea's wonderful flavor at the restaurant. The lemon tea here has a subtly sweet and refreshing taste, serving as a perfect complement to balance the spicy flavors of the hotpot and grilled meats.... To sum up, the "Food Chill" hotpot and barbecue restaurant offers customers a memorable culinary experience with delicious mixed hotpot dishes, a comfortable environment, and dedicated service. This truly makes it an ideal place for gatherings with friends or family.
