And now for our daily shots, A Lively Afternoon at Liwliwa Beach. The afternoon sun heats down on Liwliwa Beach in Zambales turning the sand super hot underfoot as my wife and I found a place near the shore. The air was feeling sticky with humidity but the cold saltwater made everyone in high spirits. Around us, the beach was lively with energy, many surfers paddled to conquer the waves of this sea while spectators looked from the shoreline like us even somecsipping fresh coconuts and others with their alcoholic drinks.

Further down just some meters away were ATV engines roaring as adventurous visitors rented rides to explore the long stretches of the shoreline, kicking up sand in their tracks. But for every thrill seeker, there were also just as many laid back people like us, couples lounging on towels, families enjoying and even solo travelers reading books by the beach.

As the sun slowly began its descent, we went also into the water letting the waves wash away the day’s stickiness and sands. The people walking became silhouettes against the glowing horizon. Liwliwa wasn’t just a beach but it was also a melting pot of escapes from the urban life.. some came for adrenaline while others for peace of mind but all left with salt in their hair and sunset memories sketched in our minds.
