Spiritual Signs

Went on an epic adventure a couple days ago!
Got out of my comfort zone even more and did my best to listen to the universe. :)

This is going to be a long post, there was a lot that happened.
I'm not even quite sure where to start and I'm sure my friends wouldn't mind if I mentioned their names, but in general I just say "friend" out of privacy and respect.

I was trying to set up a hangout with myself and two different groups of friends and they did get to meet each other, but unfortunately things worked out where one set of friends had to leave pretty quick to go do other things.

I ended up getting dropped off and it was a lot of fun! This was about an hour driving distance from where I live and I didn't exactly know where I was going to sleep, but I just tried to focus on having a good time and letting the universe do it's thing.

I showed up too late to play bowling, though I did get to play pool and then we went to another place with other games and... We did some of the cage baseball/softball hitting thingy which was fun yet my hip area was bugging me a bit and I shoulda started with the softball cause those things were coming out fast, lol... I did manage to hit quite a few of them but it took me a lil while to get used to it.

Then we played I think it's called "air hockey"? And, for me those were some of the best memories!
The reason for that is because there was a lot of good energy in terms of like laughter and smiles and I dunno, it's hard to explain... There's something about competitive games that often brings out energies in people that I really enjoy... It's like a playful way to interact that brings out the inner child in us or something like that!

Thinking back I think another part of it was that it brought back memories of when I was a little kid playing those kinds of games and now I'm like an adult even though I don't really feel like one a lot of the time... Heh... Time flies I guess...

My friend was really good at that game, she didn't lose even once. I think she beat me once and her son two or three times.
Pretty sure my game with her was really close, I think it was within one or two points, I'm not sure exactly... But, I definitely hope to have a rematch some day! :D

After that we ate some pretzels and I walked around in the dark parking lot with my friend's son in the rain and we looked at the pretty city lights and he called his mom over and we all watched together a little bit.

Now... I'm not sure what happened exactly cause I didn't have a phone with service of my own, but I was under the impression that my other friend didn't text back in time, when I got home he said what happened was that where I was supposed to sleep got rained on or something? Anyways...

Worst case scenario someone would have come to get me, I was assured that I wouldn't be left on the street alone. But, the friend who I was playing air hockey and hanging out with offered to let me sleep at I think her brother's place? Not sure exactly where it was, but at that place I got to meet two of her brothers and a nephew and we all hung out on a balcony under the stars and talked for a while and it was awesome!

Afterwards I hung out with her brothers and nephew for a while longer and we watched a movie and they gave me some salad to eat and were really nice, friendly and super welcoming.
They made sure I had everything I needed and were extremely kind, helpful and "good energy"... I felt very thankful and grateful to be around such supportive people!

Another one of the best memories was when it came time to go to bed my friend's son came up and gave me a hug and said "goodnight", that's the first time he's given me a hug like that... It warmed my heart and meant a lot to me!

The next day I went to church with my friend and her son and sister and... I haven't been to church since I was like a teenager. It was interesting. Oh and... We also saw a deer friend on the drive over there! :D I love deer!

I don't really consider myself a Christian per se, though I do resonate a bunch with the Ebionites who are believed by some researchers to be the first followers of Christ, that being said... I can still appreciate people who believe differently than me and sort of take most of what was being said and replace the word "God" with the word "universe" and it works for me.

Not that I have anything wrong with the word God, I just kinda feel like that word has a lot of preconceptions attached for many people and it works better for me because God is often seen as a "man" and I tend to think God would probably either be a mix of both genders or perhaps even go beyond genders entirely and not just be one or the other, despite some of those kinds of differences I tend to think when people like myself say universe it's extremely similar to what Christians or other religious/spiritual sorts of people mean when they say "God".

They had some live music which was pretty cool and did this thing where they suggested the people in the audience meet and talk to the other people who were near them and I shook hands with and said hi to the people around me and they all had really nice pleasant energy.

There's a lot of stigma against Christians, though I think most of them are just trying to be "good" people or "better" people and some of them are so kind hearted that it's almost heart breaking in a good way... Like, one of the guys who I shook his hand, he seemed so nice and friendly and I could just like see into his eyes and his smile and his spirit and I was a bit overwhelmed especially after being around so much negativity and hate in my life.

It's nice to be around positive energy people in general and especially when the world is full of so much negativity!
I didn't agree with some of the stuff the speaker guy said, but we don't need to get into that...
He did say some thought provoking things and I even learned one new thing, plus he referenced "Paul" a lot which almost felt like maybe a synchronicity.

There was one point during an intermission where my friend and her son left and I wasn't sure where they were going so I followed and then lost sight of them and then just kind of just made my way outside and wandered around a lil into a sort of nature area and took a leak and then started finding some cool rocks!

I kept one special rock I found for memories sake and then I almost thought I found a diamond or some kind of rare crystal, though it was just a plastic toy! Lol... I kept it anyways because that also felt kind of like a synchronicity and I like finding cool little sentimental things like that for my collection... Each one has a story and I can only imagine what the story behind that was since it was not a place where I would typically expect to find such.

After that I had to go home because my ride was leaving and when I got home I took a nap and woke up and went for a night walk and night swim and I had even more adventure!
I'd love to tell that story right now cause it was quite eventful! Though, I think I'll save that one for another post cause this is already so long.

Thanks for reading if you did!
Hope you're all doing as excellent as possible out there! Tons of love. <3

PS... The picture I included is from the drive over there and it even looks a bit heavenly in my opinion!

Oh... I forgot to mention on the way over there my friend's baby dog peed on my shirt and it smelled pretty bad so I had to borrow one of his shirts, lol...
But, the baby puppy was so cute and so much fun to play with! Here is a picture. <3
