A Great Day!

Hahaha! Oh my goodness this picture of me and my friend is hilarious in my opinion... Unfortunately I'm a lil blurry, but still... Lol...

I had an absoulutely awesome day yesterday!! :)
Went out with the metal detector with my friend and his girlfriend and we had so much fun!

Unfortunately we only found mostly rusty pieces of cans and one mysterious piece of metal buried under the roots of a tree that we might come back for.

It's most likely not worth anything in terms of money, but my friend is looking for cool, unique, artistic or interesting stuff to put in his garden area and we already brought a big piece of twisted scrap metal back from a recent adventure that was kind of similar looking.

My friend didn't bring instructions for the metal detector, so we didn't really fully know what we were doing and weren't able to use it right in regard to discrimination and such, but it was still good practice, so much fun and got me super excited for the possibilities!

We ate out at the Thai place again and had ice cream again! And then went to use the metal detector at a park in Sedona and found some cool exercise stations with like pull up bars and other neat exercise stuff, we all exercised for a while and I'm hoping we can go back there and do that more in the future!

We went swimming again and played more MTG and I don't remember how many games exactly or who ultimately won the most but I think we either tied or were one game off, it was close. The weather was also beautiful, it was cloudy and rained a lil bit and was so windy and pleasant. :)

And... One of the biggest pieces of news is... I'm most likely going to be working with my friend for his landscaping company on Tuesday!

It's going to be early morning to try to avoid the sun, so I'm not sure how much we'll be working, though I'm guessing maybe somewhere between 4 and 6 hours?
He told me that I will be getting paid and I am excited as I've had some trouble finding work I enjoy or can do considering my "situation".

I don't know what this will look like longterm in regard to working with him, but... I'm happy to help if he ever needs it and if the treasure hunting stuff doesn't work out I would seriously consider working for him full time until I possibly found something else that worked better. I do want to get back to selling my photography, but I could prolly do both if I work hard!

When I got home I saw an email telling me I got accepted into the beta of Pika which is an AI text to video app!
I made a few clips and got so excited that I texted my other friend and he told me he was in my neighborhood and asked if I wanted to meet up and...

I was exhausted as I hung out with my other friend and his gf like almost all day and we did the exercise stuff... But... I'm really trying to get out of my comfort zone and socialize more and LIVE more, so... I went for it. Right after getting out of the shower I put my clothes back on and went out again! Lol.

We mostly just drove around town and then talked for a while under the stars and saw a few shooting stars which was cool, nothing too adventurous or out of the ordinary that I can remember to report... It was fun though, it's always good to hang out with him and all of my friends. And, then when he dropped me off I almost went to lay down somewhere and look for UFOs, though decided I should get to bed sooner and went home.

I'd like to say real quick that the AI text to video program is so amazing. It's only 3 seconds right now per clip I think? Though... I'm sure that will improve in time and you can basically just type in whatever you want and it will try to make you a video of that.

I've made some epic videos already and look forward to sharing them on YouTube in the future!
Anywho... I think that's it for me for now... I'm going to go to bed early tonight cause I gotta get up early to go work for my friend. :) Much love always! <3

PS... I made another amazing vegan pizza recently and that fresh dragonfruit was delicious! I may get one of those again.

Sounds really fun! I mentioned you to someone I know who knows more about metal detecting and they mentioned Sedona has a high iron content in the soil. Not sure if it really affects metal detecting but it might be something to consider depending on the metal detector you're using

Thanks for the info! I'm aware of that and not sure how much it will effect the metal detector... I guess we'll find out. There's also a lot of "hot rocks" or iron rocks as well and that's why discrimination is going to be so important! And yeah, it was a lot of fun. :)
