With the Hot Air Balloon over Luxor

Hey everyone, at the beginning I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope your weekend is full of interesting experiences! Today I took the time to write down some moments of my trip to Egypt and look forward if you like my post.

When I was in Egypt I visited a total of seven different places and one of them was the well-known city of Luxor which can also be described as a large open-air museum and everyone who loves culture like me is certainly in the right place here! I decided to take a balloon ride here which is probably one of the highlights to explore the whole city from another perspective and it was even more interesting for me because I have already visited the temples before and to see them from above now have a completely different flair. In Luxor itself there are some of the most famous temples of the country such as the well-known temple of Karnak and the whole city is basically divided into the part Westbank as well as Eastbank and each side has its own and special highlights to offer and who should be in the city needs about three days to see everything. To explore the two sides take about two to three days and in addition there are museums to explore which have a lot to offer and if you have more time, I can recommend visiting the banana island or making a day trip to the Dendera but now back to the balloon ride.

There are different times of day which can be selected for the experience and I did not want to miss one of the first to experience the sunrise which turned out to be a special experience and these moments as well as the atmosphere was simply unique. As a lover of photography, I also got my money's worth and some very beautiful pictures were created which I do not want to withhold with the community and I was also able to get to know some friendly people from China and UK during the trip who also decided to make this unique experience. In addition to the different times which can be selected, there are different providers and here also the comfort differs and there are balloons with more as well as those with fewer participants and also the price differs depending on the time of day and chosen comfort. The cheap price starts from about 40$ and even if different providers have different prices, the average is about 3000 Egyptian pounds which is about 60$ which of course can always vary because most providers of course want a commission which is why it should always be compared. I also had the experience that two rides were canceled because there were too many participants, but fortunately it worked out in the end and usually the transfer is also included free of charge, but this is always individually and described by the provider, which is why I can't name a standard.

The flight itself started on the west bank and from the meeting point the balloon flew an hour over Luxor and the first minutes were still in the dark and little by little the sun rose and I could experience the spectacle from the air which was certainly a highlight of the flight. The pilot was also very friendly and said something about the temples over which I flew and when we flew over some residential buildings some curious people came who waved up their hands. At the end of the flight the balloon landed at another place where a driver was already waiting to pick me up and for me this was also the first flight with a hot air balloon in general so a very special experience which I can only recommend to everyone who is in the city and it should be and early time chosen to observe the sunrise and who has a good camera should not forget it and look forward to a breathtaking landscape!

Seeing Luxor from a hot air balloon must be such a special experience. I love how you shared the tips and the sunrise views — makes me want to try it too.

Oh yes that really was it, even though I was stressed at first that two bookings were canceled, but it worked out in the end! I'm really happy to hear that :)

Luxor is an other great place for sure! I had no idea they would do balloons rides! I've never seen that in other places

By the way, how are Egyptian peoples?

You should also do this if the opportunity arises, it is a unique experience :) The people in Egypt are totally open, I was even invited to a wedding.

What a beautiful, fantastic sunset. While I'm working from home, I'm listening to the news. They're talking about advances in artificial intelligence, mass layoffs at Amazon, and how artificial intelligence will take over many of the jobs we humans currently hold. But look, this divinity only has one creator: GOD. I'm sure that artificial intelligence couldn't create something like this.
I wish you a happy start to the week and a big hug.

Yes AI is a topic of its own! I think technology is never the problem, it depends on how someone is using it. I remember that we have already discussed this in the past, there are simply so many useful uses, while on the other hand it offers numerous dangers. The most important thing is a transparent view and it also depends on what kind and who is behind it, the best thing is to use one about which yourself are the master of things :)

What a beautiful view taken early in the morning! What an experience! I started to look over this yesterday and only had time to finish up reading today. My brain is too easily distracted these days... What an awesome experience and I'm so glad you were able to experience it for yourself!
