Exploring the Forbidden City in Beijing
Hey everyone, I hope you all had a weekend so far which was full of interesting experiences! Today I would like to share an experience with you again which I made in China and I am happy if you like my contribution.
During my time in Beijing I decided to visit the forbidden city, which is probably one of the most important cultural highlights of the country and is located in the center of Beijing. A reservation is necessary for the visit, which must be made beforehand via the Internet and here either the website or the WeChat channel can be used and I was lucky that I could also change my reservation on site which was positive because I was nearby that day anyway. Today the forbidden city mainly serves as a cultural heritage as well as a museum and in earlier times it served as the residence of the imperial families and here once lived the Ming and Qing dynasty and over the centuries numerous different emperors stayed here.
Who should be here will be surprised how large the site is and in any case enough time should be planned for the visit because here there are hundreds of different buildings to see which were built on several hundred thousand square kilometers. As the name suggests, it was not allowed for everyone to visit this city and only the imperial blood or their servants were allowed to come here and those who wanted to enter the city without permission had problems. It's one of the most important centers of power and even today is a symbol of the strength of the imperial families of China and it is also much about presenting other traditional values of culture which also include spiritual values or the impressive architecture.
In China, the number 9 plays an important role and is also a symbol of imperial power as well as infinity and there are also connections between this place and the number 9 and everywhere there are signs that always point to this number and if the structure is observed, people will come across it again and again. It's no wonder that this place is known worldwide and attracts thousands of visitors every year and who should be here can expect that there will be a lot going on there and I also found it unique that many visitors were here in traditional clothes which confirms how proud some Chinese people are when it comes to their culture. To this day it's also considered as a mystical place which is full of secrets and there are numerous reports of inexplicable events that once took place here and to this day there are different views on this topic.
In the past, thousands of people were responsible for the construction and there are even views that there could have been more than a million who used different materials such as wood, stone or metal. It's also an important UNESCO World Heritage Site and every visitor to Beijing should definitely plan a visit here and also take into account enough time to plan and also the reservation must be thought of because otherwise no visit is possible and this special places remains closed for one.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new and like my post! I captured these pictures with my Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens.

The forbidden city is an other great piece of China... Can you enter any building? Or is there some museum inside?
Thank you for your kind words! Yes, according to the selected option, more or less rooms can be visited. In addition to the special exhibitions, some areas can also be entered :)
Thanks :)

The truth is, my friend, the Forbidden City in China must be incredible, with so much to see and enjoy, as well as the history that exists there. This is something invaluable for tourists.

First of all, I think it's great that you are also interested in the culture in China and I'm happy to read this comment. It's true, I must have seen 50 women in traditional clothes there and you can also take pictures of most of them if they are asked. Hope you will make your trip there soon :)

Happy that I can also motivate others to visit China. If you have any questions, please let me know @dreamrona
Imperial family and their servants. Well, a place like this is precisely inhabited by people like that. What elegance, what sobriety, a brilliant work of architecture.
I wish you a happy start to the week.
The visit was very formative when it comes to the culture in China. There is so much to see and I could have spent even more time there. Many thanks for the reblog and wish you the same! :)
This is actually really a very beautiful thing I must confess
