Leo the squirrel stopped by several times this week for a snack and chat, and I snapped this shot on one of his visits. 😊
We’ve been baking bread again this week, it’s so nice having fresh bread without having to drive to the store to get it. 😊
A couple of Vultures hanging out in the Crows/Ravens tree. 😊
We’ve had a lot of thick fog here in the mornings this past week. 😊
I think Peace the pigeon is still handsome as he’s going through his molt. Do you agree? 😊
Even Half-Penny stopped by to grab a snack with the pigeons this week. 😊
Tobacco plants have pretty pink flowers on them for our pollinators to enjoy. 😊

Our first ever Bottle Gourd started growing this week, that was cool to see and we’re looking forward it and its friends growing big enough to use as birdhouses around our homestead next year. If you’ve ever grown and used Bottle Gourds for birdhouses, please let me know in the comments below, especially if you have any tips/tricks on making them last. 😊
I love coming out each morning and see our Sunflowers filling up more and more, I think they’re so pretty. 😊
My handsome husband went out to the garden, came back in with some nice greens, tomatoes and carrots for a salad and some corn, potatoes, peas, and onions for a nice cooked “garden medley” supper that was quite tasty. We have been very blessed from our gardens this year, it’s our best harvest since we started our garden beds a few years ago. 😊
Little albino caterpillar. I’ve never seen one like this before, does anyone know what type it is, maybe you @papa-pepper? 😊
I made another batch of cinnamon buns on the barbecue this week and remembered the ingredient to make them rise this time, they turned out much better. 😊

Thank you, I'll tell my handsome husband your thoughts on the bread, he did all the hard work, the measuring, mixing and kneading; I just put on the egg wash and sesame seeds and cooked it on the barbecue. They do come out surprisingly well on the barbecue. This winter I'll be practicing cooking bread on or in the wood stove and I'm hoping they come out as nice. 😊
I didn't realize how pretty tobacco plants were until we grew our first one a few years ago and now I can't imagine not seeing their pink flowers and all the lovely pollinators that frequent them every summer. 😊
