I have had a lot of hummingbirds in the south garden area for about a week now. They are too fast for me and my crappy camera. And a peek at Half Penny! Yay! I miss having chickens... :((

Welcome back lovely lady, thanks for visiting! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I know right, it's like they're supercharged and just taunting us sometimes, knowing full well we aren't going to get the picture, so cruel, LOL! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Chickens are great, though we're going to have to dispatch a few roosters off to freezer camp soon, for the sake of our hens. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'm glad we got to see Half-Penny and his mate Nacho this week, it had been a while since they'd visited and we were worried about them, thankfully, they're both healthy and safe. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Time to go get the cinnamon buns off the barbecue. Talk to you later. ๐Ÿ˜Š

God bless you and your wonderful family. Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! ๐Ÿ˜Š

So...not Smudge? I have to go find a post with her. They are beautiful, as well.

No, this is one of our males, we call him Half-Penny. If you look through July and August 2023, you should find lots. I'll try to mention in one, so you can see her...hang on. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Superrr! I will try and wait patiently for her next photo then and if I can't stay put, I'll go check your July-August 2023 posts.

I usually put the name of the squirrel or chipmunk in the blurb below their picture. We have quite a few of each that visit us regularly. Some have been coming to visit for multiple years now. It's very cool to hold them, though only some will let us hold them. It's an adventure when the pigeons want to come hang out too. LOL! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Let me know if that link I shared works or not. I'm not good with tech, though I try my darndest, I swear! LOL! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thanks so much for taking the time to look for that link. It has been a joy to see her...so fragile, yet strong, daring to get close to get her seeds and trusting you! I think they love you...and the pigeons also.

You're most welcome, I love to share pictures of our little visitors. They bring us a lot of joy every spring when we see them come out. Their first few visits, after the snow leaves, they're always a bit skittish, but after that they remember we're safe and to hang out with and then we have the best time hanging out with them while we drink our morning tea (for me) and coffee (for my handsome husband). We usually get joined by the chipmunks, squirrels, Pigeons, Chickadees, Blue Jays, Ravens, and a few different varieties of Sparrows and Junco's. We've even had a Crane come by to visit our pond while we've been out there. That's always a treat for us, too! ๐Ÿ˜Š

We've only had some of the chipmunks, squirrels, Pigeons and Chickadees, that have been willing to trust us enough to come eat out of our hand or hang out on us, but they visit us everyday and we enjoy it quite a bit. It's a beautiful way to start a day! ๐Ÿ˜Š
