Emerald Pool is an awesome pool with crystal clear water in the heart of the forest in Krabi province, in the South of Thailand. It’s one of the famous destinations of Krabi province that you shouldn’t miss.
To reach the Emerald Pool, you will walk along the nature trail (approx. 2 - 3 km.) where you can enjoy the wonderful views of the forest with a lot of shady tall trees and streams.
The Emerald Pool originated from a warm stream / hot spring in the forests. (The water temperature is approximately 30-50 degrees Celsius.) The water in the pool has a crystal clear, bluish-green color which is beautiful like an emerald.
The pool is surrounded by a variety of small and large trees that provide shade. The water in the pool changes color depending on the environment, the time of day, weather conditions, or sunlight, etc.
Visiting the Emerald Pool, you will experience the natural beauty of the pool and the nice atmosphere of the forest as well.
