Travel Diaries - #Throwbacks - Venice the Floating City
Venice is one enchanting city. I had seen this place in movies and always captivated by it's beauty. There is one Bollywood movie of famous star Amitabh Bachchan where a song has been filmed in the Gondola in Venice waters. It's a very old movie of my childhood times, and whenever I would see that song, I had this desire to sit in that Gondola some day and enjoy the beauty of this place. When I planned my Italy holiday Venice was on the top of my list.
People had given me some negative reviews also of this place saying that it's become very dirty and not worth visiting. If I would have listened to them I would have missed out something very amazing. There is quite a lot to see in this small place besides enjoying the boat rides in the canals and looking at the water bridges. There is the St. Mark's square and Cathedral, the Doge's Palace, the Venice Opera, the Clock tower and many art museums, which is again what Venice is famous for.

There was a time I read “Othello” written by Williams Shakespeare and that was when I learnt about Venice. I realized it has so many gigantic buildings just like this
The place must be a very lovely one
It is a beautiful experience to visit this place. It feels quite magical, the whole vibe is so different
It's always better to not listen to people's opinions about places before visiting the actual place and having out own experience of it. I've watched a few movies that featured some exquisite places at Venice city, the place is well designed structurally, I admire its architecture!
It's a very mesmerizing place. If I get a chance to visit it again I will surely like to do that.
