#753 - Colors for Friday.
Awesome Friday dearest Hiveans. It's finally the weekend and rest day started already for most, my wife's also last night shift for this week and tomorrow is my last day of work too for the week. As usual during weekdays I once again woke up early before five at dawn and started prepping breakfast for my son who is going to school and the wife who ends her shift at six in the morning. They both ate their meals while I skipped breakfast for several occasions now because I am doing intermittent fasting. I mean, I only eat meals twice a day for several days now. I wanted to rid the fats in my stomach so aside from jogging every other afternoon I also am observing my daily meals.
For our daily shots we got here colored scenes in the city of pines. This first one shows a lady in the middle of the road while the rain is also pouring down. She's wearing a boot and also a jacket and an umbrella. I believe she is collecting butaw from the driver which is like a tax for every trip the drivers make. Then the butaw is used to whatever means they deem it's needed for improvement or something else.
Next shot shows a father carrying his child under the cover of the buildings while it's the rain is pouring down. The father and son are among the crowd of people walking on different directions. The child looks like eating an ice cream. And that yellow mark that is used by blind pedestrians is definitely slippery already when wet.
Two food delivery riders come across each others while the rain has been gradually slowing. They may both have the meals picked up and are now on their way to deliver the goods. There are also other motorcycle bikes that are parked in the side of the building nearby.
And finally a scene at the crossing where the people are waiting for the light so they can cross to the other side of the road. One of them is an old man holding two bags which could be his wife's. Then there's also a blind person sitting on a loud speaker as he sings his melody to ask passing people for a small amount of alms.
Follow me on my street travels.
Shot taken in Baguio City, Philippines.
I love your every day pics, thanks for sharing. How cold is it there during a rainy day like this? Also, it's my first time to encounter "butaw" curious if it's legal. Much love from Cebu ❤️
Really cold madam especially during last week of December and January all month. Butaw is practiced here in the North😊
