La Isla Bonita
The rain fell hard. It was a quiet weekday, but there was a cafe nearby that was opened. Sitting outside and drinking a cup of coffee under an umbrella while the drops drenched the streets of Santo Domingo. After the rain, I found an almond on the ground and put it in my pocket. I then took a photo of this flowery arrangement and continued my city exploration.

There is a lot of crime in Santo Domingo, so people have to take these protection measures like iron fencing on windows. The colonial zone is protected by a special police, so there is less crime, but people are still careful.
