WYDARZENIE. Practical Philosophy Club: Human Uniqueness

W sobotę, 25 października, w Królestwie odbędzie się kolejne spotkanie Practical Philosophy Clubu. Tym razem dyskutowany temat to "wyjątkowość ludzi". Spotkanie rozpocznie się o godzinie 16:30, a dyskusja będzie prowadzona w języku angielskim. Wstęp, jak zawsze, wolny.

On Saturday, October 25 the next meeting of the Practical Philosophy Club will again take place at the Kingdom (Biskupia St. 18/1). This time, we the topic is "Human Uniqueness". The meeting will start at 4:30 p.m., and the discussion will be held in English. Admission, as always, is free.

1. Why is it so important for people to feel unique — and what would happen if we truly accepted that we’re ordinary?

2. Can you fully realise your ordinarity without falling into despair — or does that awareness destroy motivation and meaning?

3. If everyone is special, doesn’t that make “specialness” meaningless?

4. Is the desire to be unique a genuine search for self — or just another form of vanity and fear of insignificance?

5. In what way do you believe you are special and unlike many other people?
