We wtorek, 27 stycznia, w Królestwie odbędzie się kolejne spotkanie Practical Philosophy Clubu. Tym razem dyskutowany temat to "Depresja". Spotkanie rozpocznie się o godzinie 18:30, a dyskusja będzie prowadzona w języku angielskim. Wstęp wolny, ale jak zwykle można się dobrowolnie opodatkować na rzecz otwartej enklawy.
On Tuesday, January 27 the next meeting of the Practical Philosophy Club will again take place at the Kingdom (Biskupia St. 18/1). This time, we the topic is "Depression". The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m., and the discussion will be held in English. Admission is free, but as usual, you can voluntarily contribute to the open enclave.
- Can depression teach us something important about the meaning of life, or is it purely destructive?
- Is it ever morally acceptable to choose not to treat depression? Why or why not?
- Would a life without any sadness or depression still be meaningful?
- How much of depression is shaped by society rather than personal choice?
- Can philosophical practices, like mindfulness or Stoicism, truly reduce depression?
- If technology could eliminate all depression, should we use it? Why or why not?
- Do people have a responsibility to help friends or family who are depressed, and where are the limits of that responsibility?
- Between constant happiness with shallow experiences and occasional depression with personal growth, which life is more valuable?
