#957 - Cape Bojeador Lighthouse Shots for Thursday.
Happy Thursday beautiful Hiveans! As we near the week’s end, remember that progress is built one tiny step at a time. Most challenges are hidden opportunities for us to tackle them with courage. Lean on to our own people and Hive family because together, we can rise stronger. Celebrate how far we’ve come and keep the goals in sight. Every effort, big or small, shapes our tomorrows. Stay kind always and trust in our own journeys.😉🐝✨ #ThursdayWisdom #HiveStrong
For today I will be sharing scenes of our Morning at Cape Bojeador Lighthouse
Last year, we woke up early to visit Cape Bojeador Lighthouse because it's a lengthy trip from the resort we booked in Pagudpud, the tower is a historic gem still standing on a hill in the town of Burgos, Ilocos Norte. Instead of taking a tricycle from the entrance, we decided to walk the uphill path because partly for the adventure and partly to soak in the views and the sun. The morning sun was gentle and a cool breeze kept us company as we walked up the slope of concrete going to the tower.
When we reached the destination, the lighthouse stood old and proud, its old brick walls and rusty irons telling stories of over a century, 1892 according to web search. A friendly guide greeted us and offered to take our photos all throughout the adventure. As we posed, he shared lighthouse history since under Spanish rule to guide ships through the Ilocos waters. Back then, it used kerosene lamps and a giant lens for the lighting. Unfortunately, the tower was inaccessible that time of our visit because of the recent earthquakes that's been happening in the north.
The guide’s stories brought the place to life somehow. From the balcony, the panoramic view stole our breath because of the rolling hills, distant towns and the vast ocean meeting the sky.
Walking back down we also chose to skip the tricycle meant a bit of sore legs but it also gave us time to reflect. The lighthouse wasn’t just a pretty spot up in the mountain but it was a silent witness to history.

Nice shots and you're the one that I admire and inspired me here in hive in terms of photography, a reason that I bought a secondhand nikon d3500 to follow you :) thanks po
Thank you so much for your kind words boss! 😊 Secondhand gear is smart choice, it’s not about the camera but the eye behind it. Just keep doing point and shoot and sharing your unique perspective here. Let’s grow together! 📸
