#628 - Ilocos shots for Thursday.
Wonderful day, evening to all active Hivers. So the other day we went to Pampanga to accompany our mother in law and her sister and left them there because they need to attend a funeral. Then yesterday my mother in law called with a hoarse voice and cough, she has a fever and dry cough and wanted to come home because she needs to see a doctor. So after mt wife finished her work at three in the afternoon, we went to Pampanga and it was raining and there's heavy traffic too. I brought medicine, water and blanket in case she is cold. We fetched them both before seven in the evening and got home before midnight. Now I also got fever already, I might have caught it from my mother-in-law 😂, hope to recover soon.
Anyways, for today's shot we some lovely ones with the wife and her friends riding calesa, a wagon pulled by horses which was the main form of transportation they have here back in the Spanish era and still being practice to date for tourists to experience.
Here are two more shots for the closer look of them riding the calesas, the cost of each calesa ride is 200 pesos or $4 and it last about 15-20mins of ride going through àll the old houses from the Spanish era.
Then some shots of the Paoay church which is also built during the Spanish times. A couple of shots in the front and a shot of the door inside.
Follow me on my nature travels.
Shot taken in Ilocos region, Philippines.
I'm always amazed by the Paoay Church, of course, your shots make it more awesome.
Thanks 😊
