The title Enemy on the Bridge made me think of one of the songs from my youth: Ode to Billie Joe. No idea why, perhaps the lyrics "news from Choctaw Ridge: "Billie Joe McAllister jumped off the Tallahatchie Bridge."
Good song. But no ... it is not about that kind of bridge.
