Polish Nature - Golden Autumn Light - The Gallery

Hi Friends!

This is a full gallery of photographs I took on my latest autumnal hike in the forest. Video from this hike You can watch HERE or check out my previous post HERE.

It was already late in the afternoon so I knew I had limited time of the best golden light.
My goal was to get to the small forest lake where I wanted to search for some reflections in the water. On my way there I found few places which I had to photograph...

Forest roads are always good motive for photography - they create good perspective, create some story, they are good lines leading our eyes through the scene.
I found this spot really attractive as the sun was hidden behind the trees on the edge creating amazing lines of shadows which were additional leading lines straight to the sun.

To get a nice star from the sun I closed my aperture to f/14 - f/16 and shoot the panoramic image to capture the whole wide view.

Final effect is my favorite shot from that day! Check it out :).

Little further I found another few spots where main motive was the forest ground road. I took another few panoramic images trying to caplture the road, the light and the variety of autumnal colors on the surrounding.

When I got close to the lake I found that it was already very late - sun position was low, hidden behind the line of forest. Only the highest trees were capturing the rest of beautiful golden light.

By the road I spotted this tree on the edge of a meadow and took another panoramic image to capture the whole scene - the road, the tree, the forest wall with line of golden light on the top of the trees.

To get such wide view I had to make panorama from vertical shots - for this one I needed 6 vertical shots which I stitched together later in post production.

By the lake I knew already it is too late to explore it shores looking for nice reflections - it was hidden in shadow, all the best light gone already...

I used too much time capturing other shots on the way but I don't regret it. The effects are nice, showing the full beauty of autumn in the forest lighted up by warm late sunlight.
