In Which My Baby Brother Got Married!

One of the joys of my summer was heading out to Raleigh, North Carolina, to witness my youngest sibling, my little brother, get married to a sweet young woman.

There is always a debate in our family about what my role will be. Do I participate in some active way for the ceremony, or should I take the photos?

It was decided that I would take the photos.

The ceremony and reception were held in a sweet little reception hall, officiated by a long-time family friend.

The bride wore my mother's old ring, which my little brother inherited after her passing. It tugged at the heartstrings a bit seeing this piece of our family's history incorporated so lovingly.

And seriously, none of us could stop smiling! It was such a happy, happy day.

And kudos to his new bride -- she even got him out on the dance floor!

And yes, I DID make sure to get in a few photos myself. We had the whole sibling gang out in front of the Raleigh temple the next day in celebration of their eternal sealing.

And yes, I bawled like a little baby, but they were happy tears, I promise!

Aww that is so tender that she was wearing your mother's ring. Is it siblings in the last picture?

Yes, that's all of us siblings at the end there. I got a friend to take it.
