The Demand and supply for land & development.

The metropolis where I stay is 50% industrial area and 50% residential area, so you're right, the noise, air, water and land pollution is at its peak here, but people are still relocating to this area because it still remains a bit cheap.

Trees are being cut down to make space for people to live in, the drainage systems are getting worse, more people are now generating massive waste and still there are no adequate plans across the state on how to properly manage waste.

Of course the answer looks simple: depopulate concentrated areas, but the problem is that the areas that are not concentrated lacks basic amenities like accessibility to good road, electricity and all, and the area is lacks commercial hubs and ventures.

So people want to stay where the electricity, road and accessibility is good, and where they can properly do business as well, unfortunately everyone thinking the same way means there will be a population problem

The area lacks a lot of amenities, but it's better than rural areas with no commercial ventures.

The average business owners in these areas makes a lot of money and most times, it's always very competitive to own shops and lands as the area is quite competitive and owners are becoming increasingly greedy.

I guess it's just proper economics: more demand, prices go up, less demand, prices go down.

Enough about the economic aspects.

I take pictures of these areas, but I mostly don't share because everywhere looks the same and there are no places of interest.

I still don't do a lot of exploring whatsoever, but sometimes on my way to get my regular walks, I try to pop out my S25 Fe, and do some basic shooting and add some little edits.

Perhaps Someday I might start taking pictures of some interesting places like my friend Davek on Hive. 😂😂😂

Trees are very important to protect the environment, temperature hits very hard in areas where trees are less numbers.

  • No worries no wonders, not everyone can take good pictures not at Least me. But your photos are nice.

Yeah, the photos are very nice, but not as nice as I want them to be. There aren't a lot of trees in these areas, this is mostly because of the greed of the real estate developers and land owners.

Here people are leaving the center as it's full of bad people and are moving to periphery which still have all services and are more quiet, prices are skyrocketing everywhere

Yeah, but in Nigeria, no one is trying to develop the underdeveloped areas, so the concentrated areas are always high in price.

Owning a shop and the building that houses it is always more profitable. In the end the only real way to control your future is to own your own business and be your own boss. Especially where you live, but finding a location suitable to house your business seems like a real challenge. It sounds like there is a desperate need for more commercial real estate there, if you only had the funds to buy land and build business rentals you could make a fortune!

Yes, there's always a need more more living opportunities because of the business and commercial opportunities concentrated in this place where I live. Infact constructions are constantly going on, and the people living around are not liking the noise, but I guess that's what it is

I've always loved the countryside, and it tops the list of my preferred home aboard. I can't endure the city's noise all day long, and go through the same at night when I'm supposed to be resting. Mba nụ. 😂

I think you should take more photos, whether interesting or not, they're all part of content. And these ones are sharp. Omoh! I go like own Samsung one day sha. 😅

Yes, I love taking shots for content, just that sometimes I'm either not on the road enough or I'm just not able to cope with the excesses of people when I'm trying to take pictures.

However, I'm going to try to take more pictures for to share since they've come out well so far.

For me, the place I visit near industrial area feels like heaven. Wider roads, heavy unique machinery, and soo many memories.

Wow, well it's not the same over here, industrial areas are messed up especially since people wants to live close to these areas as their business are in these areas

It's just how things are. Using money to make more money by running a business or house just seems to make sense. Make that money work for you, and it looks like the demand for goods there is quite good too.

Yeah, it's just the laws of demand and supply in play and people will always want to milk that to their advantage as well. I guess that's how some of these things works

Real estate is still the best way to retire, tho it's important to have a strategic location.
