The Painter Abraham van Beijeren
Hey dear community, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new contribution and hope as always that you are all doing well and have enjoyed your day! In this post, I would like to go into the history of art and hope you are able to expand your knowledge.
To be seen here is a still life of the painter from the old Dutch school Abraham van Beijeren (1620 - 1690) who can also be counted to the Baroque era and had a particularly great interest in depicting still life as can be seen in this work. Already in his young years, van Beijeren, who was born in The Hague, knew that he later wanted to become an artist and he decided in his youth to begin an apprenticeship as an artist, where he dealt particularly intensively with marine painting in his early works and his first known works are characterised by seascapes. There are only few traditions about the appearance of the artist himself and also about other times of his life can only be puzzled and during his life, he was probably a rather oppressed artist and his works only found great attention in later times and during his artistic career he was forced to change his place of residence again and again because of problems, but he was never dissuaded from his passion for art. He has probably exchanged a lot with other artists and it is assumed that he was a member of a guild in The Hague and in his private life he was married and had three children with his wife and by visiting other regions, he collected various inspirations which he integrated into his works and later he decided to turn away from marine painting and create only still lifes. His still lifes look very realistic and convince with a very own style and through the choice of the right colors he have managed to make his works look particularly lively and there are many peculiarities that characterise his style and he manages to integrate exactly the right light effects.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new about art history! I captured these pictures with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens.

Excellent work. Dutch still lives were full of symbolic meanings. Can You decipher them?
I can only agree with that! Dutch art has a very special value and yes, is also full of symbolism :) Great that you are also interested in the topic and read between the lines, symbolism can be found in pretty much all art epochs and it can be said that the history of art and encryption goes hand in hand :) Have a nice day dear @helcim
