My landscapes - Issue 120 from 01.09.2023 + contest for everyone who wants to share a landscape.
I think that any photographer has had moments when he pointed his camera lens at something and at the last moment before pressing the camera shutter button he realized that it was not worth it, that there was no special beauty in it.
But I don’t remember experiencing anything like this while visiting corners of the wild, where humans have not made a valuable contribution.
Any landscape, this little journey into the past and future, depends only on the imagination of the one who looks at the landscape.
Yes, when you see orderly rows of trees planted by people you can get lost in this monotony and the forest chaos created by nature is magnificent from any angle.
Although if you are a perfectionist, then you may like to photograph geometrically correct forest plantings but I do not find it interesting.
Even when the forest is devoid of bright colors as it may seem you can always find a precious brooch that nature has attached to attract your attention.
In this case the role of such a decoration is played by the hawthorn tree and its bright red fruits, which have not yet dried up on the branches and give hope to birds and small animals to survive the cold winter well-fed.
But, even if you don’t have this bright element in front of you the silhouettes of old trees will be no less interesting and will decorate any photograph.***
