#863 - Streets in Monochrome for Friday.

Greetings and a good evening dearest Hiveans. As the week comes to a close and Friday night approaches and also my off for a day, I hope you can find a moment of peace amidst the gloomy weather here in the Metropolitan Manila. May your heart be light and your spirit free and may you find joy in the simple pleasures of life. Wishing you all a lovely evening filled with warmth and contentment as you all prepare for the weekend ahead.

For our daily shots we got here a man who strides confidently through the pouring rain while his jacket splashing with each step as the droplets patter against the umbrella his holding overhead with a bank brand shown lettered on the fabric. The rain while its heavy, doesn't seem to faze him as he continues on his way. The scene shows a solitary figure, dressed in for a stormy sky, walking through the rain while the world around him seems to be in chaos. Yet, the man remains composed with his steps steady and his gaze focused on the whatever is ahead. It's a reminder that even in the darkest of times, one can find a way to keep moving forward no matter the obstacles in one's path.

The mother and her little boy stood first at the edge of the crosswalk, waiting for the walk signal to illuminate. The boy who is probably no more than five years old got his eyes wide with curiosity as he looks around at the bustling street. Then as the walk sign flashes, the mother has led the way while guiding her son across the street with each of their steps in sync as they navigate the busy crossing.

Then we got here a young lady dressed in a jacket and leggings, she strides purposefully through the pouring rain with her Nike shoes splashing with each step. Her umbrella provides a small haven of dryness as she navigates the watered streets. In her right hand she grips her phone tightly, her fingers tapping away at the screen as she checks her messages or perhaps navigates a map to her destination. The rain while heavy, doesn't seem to faze her as she continues on her way with her eyes focused on the path ahead and on her phone simultaneously.

Lastly we got two women who were sharing a single umbrella, appear to be friends or coworkers or relatives maybe, their heads close together as they probably chat and laugh, their voices carrying through the rain. Then there's a third woman, walking in opposite directions of them, carries her own umbrella and a backpack slung over her chest. She seems to be in a hurry with her steps quick and purposeful as if she has an important destination to reach. She's already on the pedestrian walking lane and a jeepney is on a full stop at the moment.
