#635 - Ilocos Sur shots for today.

Happy Friday! It's the last day of the work week for most people. I still have two more night shifts to go before my weekend off. Yesterday my father called to inform that he is doing better with his condition. There were shingles that showed up in his chest area going to the back so I accompanied him last Monday to see a doctor and since then he is taking medicine to cure it within a week. Hope he gets well soon.

Now for our daily shots we got here some photos taken during our visit to Ilocos Sur. During our stay there we went to one of the beaches nearby, took us about ten minutes of drive going to the shore. It was early morning of our third day, we came here for last dip before we go home later in the midday. When we arrived we were just the people there maybe because it's too early like seven in the morning. The wife saw a huge group of stones near the water so she wanted to pose for some shots but before we finished, there was a big wave that came and hit here making her lose her balance and hit the rocks. She got some scratches in her left thigh but she said it was an experience 😂. Here are some of her shots before the disaster.

That's the incoming wave that will rid of her from the top of the rocks.

Then we went to the Calle Crisologo which is the famous street in this city. There you can find Spanish old houses, well there's many streets as well with a lot of heritage houses from the Spanish time but the Calle Crisologo is the most famous. It is like the central business district in the area and the most visited as well by tourists. It's about half a kilometer of stretch and there are many businesses in the old houses that offer different kinds of services. From food to coffee to booze and souvenirs items they have it all here. The night time is also colorful here but my wife didn't took much photos during the night that we went here. These are some of our shots.

Just me holding a bread with dirty ice cream or sorbetes, this is my favorite ever since I was a kid. My mother used to buy us these ice cream on bread when she goes to the market.
