​¡Hola, comunidad! Hoy quiero presentarles a una visitante muy especial que se ha tomado la atribución de supervisar mis mañanas.

​El escenario: Mi puesto de venta

​No trabajo en una oficina cerrada; mi día a día transcurre en el portal de una casa de vendedora. Es un lugar con mucha vida, donde entran y salen personas, se organizan pedidos y se sacan cuentas constantemente. Pero entre tanto movimiento, esta pequeña Lagartija Verde (Anolis porcatus) ha decidido que mi mesa de trabajo es su lugar favorito para tomar el sol.

​Una colega muy curiosa

​Como pueden ver en las fotos, no le teme ni a las libretas ni a los lapiceros. Se pasea por los bordes del muro del portal y, de repente, ¡zas!, aterriza justo encima de mis notas. Me causa mucha gracia verla ahí, tan estática y elegante, como si estuviera revisando que los números cuadren correctamente.

​Es fascinante observar su color verde neón tan intenso. En una de las fotos se aprecia el detalle de su piel y esa línea clara que recorre su lomo; es una verdadera joya de nuestra fauna cubana.

​La paz en el trabajo

​Aunque el trabajo de vendedora puede ser agitado, estos encuentros me regalan un momento de paz. Ella se queda ahí, disfrutando del calor del sol que entra al portal, y yo sigo con mis tareas, respetando su espacio.

Es una convivencia silenciosa pero muy bonita.
​Me siento afortunada de tener una "colega" que no se queja de los precios y que siempre me recibe con el mejor color posible.

​The Setting: My Sales Post

I don’t work in a closed office; my day-to-day life takes place on the porch of a vendor's house. It’s a place full of life, where people come and go, orders are organized, and accounts are constantly being calculated. But amidst all this movement, this little Green Lizard (Anolis porcatus) has decided that my workspace is her favorite spot for sunbathing.

​A Very Curious Colleague

As you can see in the photos, she isn't afraid of notebooks or pens. She wanders along the edges of the porch wall and suddenly—zap!—she lands right on top of my notes. It makes me laugh to see her there, so still and elegant, as if she were checking that the numbers add up correctly.

​It’s fascinating to observe her intense neon green color. In one of the photos, you can appreciate the detail of her skin and that light line running down her back; she is a true gem of our Cuban fauna.

​Peace at Work

Although being a vendor can be hectic, these encounters give me a moment of peace. She stays there, enjoying the warmth of the sun coming onto the porch, while I continue with my tasks, respecting her space. It’s a silent but beautiful coexistence.

​I feel lucky to have a "colleague" who doesn’t complain about prices and who always greets me with the best possible color.
