¡Buenas tardes, comunidad amante de las mascotas! Hoy les traigo noticias de Coco. Y es que este pequeñín de seis meses ya no es tan pequeño, aunque no por eso ha perdido las mañas de gatito, con la diferencia que se sale a la calle y hay que andar cuidándolo. Valiente y decidido, se enfrenta a todos os perros del barrio, ¡y no les tiene miedo! Los que tenemos miedo somos nosotros sus dueños de que algún perro lo ataque.
Good afternoon, pet-loving community! Today I bring you news of Coco. This six-month-old little guy isn't so little anymore, but he hasn't lost his kittenish ways, except now he goes outside and we have to keep an eye on him. Brave and determined, he confronts all the dogs in the neighborhood, and he's not afraid of them! We, his owners, are the ones who are afraid that a dog will attack him.
La historia de Coco comienza cuando perdí a mi amada gatita de 20 años, Suri. La casa se puso triste y la extrañaba mucho. Unos meses después, casi pasó un año, un amigo de mi hermano le ofreció un gatito negro: Coco. Tenía tres hermanitos amarillos y una mamá muy buena y sana. Sufrió al principio con el cambio de casa, pero se adaptó muy rápido. Ahora es el rey de la casa (por eso le pusimos gaturrey).
Coco's story begins when I lost my beloved 20-year-old cat, Suri. The house became sad, and I missed her very much. A few months later, almost a year, a friend of my brother's offered him a black kitten: Coco. He had three yellow siblings and a very good and healthy mother. He suffered at first with the change of home, but he adapted very quickly. Now he is the king of the house (that's why we named him Gaturrey).
Coco es un gato sano y crece muy rápido, le gusta jugar en el fondo, donde caza todo lo que puede (empezó con hormigas, hasta que un día nos trajo de regalo una cucaracha). Casi salto del susto cuando la metió a la habitación donde duermo, pero se lo agradecí igual, jaja. Ahora a pasado a los matuastos y a los comepiojos, que por suerte los deja afuera de la casa.
Coco is a healthy cat and growing very fast. He likes to play outside, where he hunts everything he can (he started with ants, until one day he brought us a cockroach as a gift). I almost jumped out of my skin when he it in the room where I sleep, but I thanked him anyway, haha. Now he's moved on to bugs and lice, which luckily he leaves outside the house.
Su nueva gracia es la calle, aprendió a subir por la ventana y casi todos los días lo tenemos que andar buscando… porque no quiere entrar. ¡Hasta llora en la puerta para que le abramos! (Cuando no tiene ganas de trepar) Aquí les dejo una fotos de él y, como verán, le gusta acompañarme cuando cocino (no vaya a ser que se pierda un poco de carne).
His new favorite place is the street. He learned to climb through the window, and almost every day we have to go looking for him... because he doesn't want to come inside. He even cries at the door for us to open it for him! (When he doesn't feel like climbing.) Here are some photos of him. As you can see, he likes to keep me company when I cook (just in case he misses out on a little meat).
