Creativity Store

Hello everyone!!! Today is Friday, which means we will talk about our purchases on #MarketFriday by @dswigle! (see details here: https://ecency.com/hive-196308/@dswigle/pumpkin-tales-for-market-friday)
The other day, my husband and I were in that part of our city where we rarely visit. Passing by, we saw one store that interested my husband and we decided to go there for a couple of minutes. It turned out that this is a store for various types of creativity.

I focused on drawing subjects. I was struck by a rack with drawing paper. There were many different options for paper both in quality and size. The choice surprised me!

I saw small sketch pads and just huge sheets of paper. In the store near my house there are only a couple of options for sketchbooks: a little bigger and a little smaller.

Another rack that pleasantly surprised me is a rack with canvases.

The canvases were of various sizes; were even very small. I was surprised that they are not wide, that is, the canvases are stretched not on frames, but on a very dense base.

I have not yet had the opportunity to paint on such canvases. It would be interesting to somehow buy and try.

In the corner I noticed an easel, but there was no choice of easels. Only one, two.

Another rack also attracted my attention because there were many different necessary little things.

I found this roll and thought it might be masking tape. I'm not sure but it would be interesting to try this when drawing too.

I enjoyed my visit to this store. There I bought purple paint which I lacked.

that's for sure!!!! if the artist has not too high demands for products (for example, I have, because I'm just a beginner), then everything you need is here 😀

I moved to our temporary stay… no moving date yet. As things are changing and updates are slow. But we are patient. Thanks for asking.
Have a wonderful day further and good start of the new week @tali72 😊👋🏻 Huggsss

How awesome! Another store to choose from! I like that you have a few different options, you are not just relegated to one store. It gives you more power to be selective. Are those canvases hard? (almost?) If they are, I am familiar with them.
Was their merchandise expensive or well-priced?

I thought you had an easel. If not, what do you hold your painting with while you are working on it? I am so lifted up by how you learned to paint after you were an adult! We should never stop learning!!

Thank you for participating in #MarketFriday! I appreciate the time and effort that goes into putting a post together for the challenge. It is with great pleasure that I read through and realize how much we have all tried to include things in our world that may be unique to the area. I have learned so much about the different cultures of the world, especially the small things that go unnoticed except by those looking for them. Life is interesting, wherever you are, whatever you are doing. I hope the week has found you healthy and happy, as we all look to prosper in our way of life.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

Rules of the Road to Join #MarketFriday!

  1. Go to the market, or anywhere that you pay money for a service.
    Take pictures! Be creative!
  2. Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost? Was it expensive or cheap? Did it go up or down? Please do not post 30 pictures with no words about them.Do not use pictures more than once in a post!
  3. Post the pictures. Of course, you should tell a little bit about the ones you post, it is too difficult to guess on some
    4. #MarketFriday must be your first tag.
Use the MarketFriday Community Platform to post (#hive-196308) This is not required but appreciated.
    5. PLEASE Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it!!
  4. Following me and reblogging the post would be appreciated, but not a rule, more vision for more views on the #MarketFriday posts!
    7. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post.
As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!

You are absolutely right, my dear! we really should never stop learning. Yes, I have an easel. my husband did it for me. those canvases are really stiff and I'm sure it will be comfortable to paint on them using an easel. and you're right: it's very convenient when there are several shops nearby to choose from. You can choose the one that suits both price and quality. this store is inexpensive and the goods there are good but not for professionals of course. I like the art store in Tel Aviv the most. but we rarely go there and when something is suddenly needed urgently, there is always the opportunity to buy it in such stores nearby

I DO remember your husband making the easel now that you say that! I have to admit, I have many stores that carry art supplies, although like yours, not for professionals. I actually only know of 2 in DC that carry artists' supplies, but of course, I have not looked for any.

Perhaps if I was any kind of artist! :)

I am glad you have found all of these options for yourself! Have a wonderful week ahead! ❤️

That place dreams like a dream for me hahaha I'm an artist and few things are as cool as being able to find a place where they sell all kinds of art supplies. Thanks for the visual tour. I really liked the diversity. A hug.
