For me, the special thing about Edinburgh is that this city simply looks beautiful in any weather. Whether in sunshine, rain, at night or in thick fog, there is really no weather that does not suit the Scottish capital. So it doesn't matter what time of year you visit Edinburgh, you will always be able to experience the Scottish capital in all its glory. I particularly liked the mystical atmosphere on Princess Street in the fog: how the historic buildings, such as the unique Scott Monument, stand out as silhouettes against a white background and are almost swallowed up by the fog in the distance. What an atmospheric setting for my street photography!

Das besondere an Edinburgh ist für mich, dass diese Stadt einfach bei jedem Wetter wunderschön aussieht. Egal ob bei Sonnenschein, im Regen, bei Nacht oder im dichten Nebel, es gibt eigentlich kein Wetter, das nicht zur schottischen Hauptstadt passen würde. Somit ist es auch völlig egal, zu welcher Jahreszeit man Edinburgh besucht, man wird die schottische Hauptstadt immer in voller Pracht erleben können. Die mystische Atmosphäre bei Nebel in der Princess Street gefiel mir besonders gut: Wie die historischen Gebäude, wie das einzigartige Scott Monument, als Silhouetten vor weißem Hintergrund hervorstechen und in der Ferne fast vom Nebel verschluckt werden. Was für eine stimmungsvolle Bühne für meine Straßenfotografie!
