Dodging Trains And Light Painting

Last night a few friends and I went to a train tunnel in downtown Hamilton (TH&B tunnel built in 1895), to have some fun with light painting and steel wool.

After we got to the middle of the tunnel, we set up and started with the steel wool.

Despite making it to the end of the tunnel, we didn't feel done. So we made our way back to the middle and of course as soon as we started to set up. The rail lights changed indicating that a train was coming. We quickly got to the maintenance cubbies in the wall and watched it pass. Not yet knowing that we would end up having to do this 4 times before we were done.

The next hour was spent dodging trains and playing with lights.

Congratulations, beautiful photos!
Light painting!
As easy as it is (for us who always have the camera in hand!) to take such photos, they are always spectacular and fascinating.
Then there are the glowing "splashes" that give a warm tone to the scenes!
Excellent congratulations!
