Autumn in Full Swing

With the Autumn colors in full swing, I found myself wondering where I wanted to go. I always want to capture the beauty in the best locations possible but couldn't think of anywhere new. So I went to a usual haunt, Cootes Paradise in the west end of Hamilton Ont. because it never disappoints!

When I arrived to the trail, I was greeted by a wall of color. So I put the drone up and was blown away by the sea of color!

This march area really caught my eye and I found myself obsessed with it until the drone battery ran out lol. The breaks in the green growth in the water that look like veins, surrounded by the fall colors. Really captivated me and the photos did not disappoint one bit!

Then finally the trail itself. The colors were bright and stunning and on a cool addition was a high school football team placing pumpkins all along it. I cannot remember the name of the event it was for, but it's pretty cool. Elementary school students from the area carve a lot of pumpkins, then the high school students place them on the trail. In the evening they light them up and collect donations for the food bank.

This was a great start to fall photos for this year! I cannot wait to spend the week shooting!
