Abandoned Neighborhood
When I spotted this boarded up blue house, I thought about how it could be an interesting explore. So I went back a few nights later to check it out. It was sealed up but found another house behind it and a couple more beside them.

This is an abandoned neighborhood! Street and all! Yesterday I went to check them out during the day and still found no access points to any of the houses but did wander around to shoot the exteriors, a grass trail that used to be a road, sheds, work areas and more.
An even more interesting aspect of this neighborhood is that I cannot find any records or info about the addresses or street. The street still shows on google maps and on a transit map but that is it. The only thing I could find about any of the houses was from court records. It would seem that the owners of the small red house were being ripped off by everyone else on the street. That owner was paying for everyone's water (for many years). Found out and was suing.
Definitely an interesting explore and I will continue going back until I have explored the houses!

Hey @terrywayne you are welcome.
Thanks for using @worldmappin 😘
That blue house is absolutely gorgeous ❤️ It's nice to imagine it was once home to a large country family, with tons of young kids, home cooked meals, playing outside in the sunsets...
Thank you for sharing, the chair in the tree killed me 😂
Yeah can only imagine what all of them were like!

These pictures are always so interesting because I am forever and constantly asking myself all the basic story telling elements.
Why?
How?
When? (as in how long ago did the boards go up)
Then there's all the little details, the stones marking the plants, the temporary structure, the chair in the tree.
I love places like this, and I wish there were some I could explore locally.
I hear ya!!! Just want to know the stories behind them
