A sunrise walk at Heritage State Park
As I write this a week in advane of when I will post it, the nice spring weather we had for a week has moved away and its cooled down a lot its just on freezing point outside as I write this, but I cannot complain I made the most of the few nice days we had and got out for some nice morning walks, one of them being the Fall River Heritage State park around sunrise, and which I will share photos of today, while i wait patiently for the nicer weather to return
The park is about a 25 minute drive from my house, and as it happened that morning, I had a Doctors appointment in Fall River so I headed to Fall River early to catch the sunrise and get a walk in.
Its a real nice spot for a walk, there is a nice boardwalk to stroll along which I enjoy visiting, it can be quite slippery if it has recently rained, but luckily the morning i took these it was dry and fine to walk on

there are also a few spots along the walk with piers of various sizes, that one can walk out on and get views like this next shot

there was hardly any wind that morning so the water was quite still which made for some cool reflections
a shot from another pier, gorgeous sunrise colors and a few small boats lined up, I guess they belong to some sailing club

Further along thew walkway, and looking back to where i had come from, I was parked in a spot close to but not quite under the Brage Bridge shown in this next shot, and that building inthe foreground is a restaurant

Beautiful shots! I did a fair amount of walking myself this past weekend. Our family lives in an area where there is a lot of walkable stuff, so we always try to take advantage of that when we are there.
thanks, I was thinking of you mentioning trails yesterday, so mid morning, I felt the need to get out, so I headed to a trail here, not a forets one but one beteen farms heading to a coastal lookout was a good and nice lenght walk
That sounds like a pretty awesome walk. We are hoping to hit some interesting new ones this weekend.

That is a really pretty spot, too bad it's 25 minutes to get there! The sunrise really looks nice there, that second one with the reflections is awesome. Well done!

With me being an early riser its not to far to go, I will pronbably head there again in a month when I have another Drs appointment

Great shots @tattoodjay nice to see you are still around as I always enjoy your work.
Haven't been on many walks these days I took a bad fall and injured my hips and back.
Healed up mostly(just regular old fart pain now lol) and have been taking short walks around the hood to build up strength and endurance.
Also dusted off the camera equipment and started brushing up on the photography skills and relearning my photo editing suite, rusty AF after putting it doun for a couple of years O.o
Got a post spinning up for tomarrow if I can get the editing done tonight.

Sorry to hear about the fall, but I can relate to Old fart pain, I feel it a lot these days as well
I find photo walks are a greta way to get some exercise without over doing it
