Another Friday and another one of my kit building post
This week I am sharing the Lookout Campground, which has 1426 Pieces.
Before I say any more I should disclose I did not buy this set the company LUmibricks as they are called now, added me to their list of content creators who they may ask to give feedback on new designs and occassionbaly send out free sets, and they sent me this one with no expectations of if I would do a blog post or as to what I would say, so giving my honest feedback

Let me start with shot of the full build

It was a fun build one of the older sets with stickers which for the most part I had no issues with, I will admit I do far prefer the sets with printed tiles instead of stickers, but arent finding the stickers to be too much of a problem.
The kits come in sollid boxes, thus far all my sets have arrived with the boxes in good shape, you may well note this box is for the one I am currently working on, I cut up the box for the lookout set and put it into the recycling bin before I thought of the idea for this post.
Now the boxes as I say and solid and many people in the forums keep all the boxes, and I keep a few for storing manuals and other things in, but just do not have the space to keep them all

When you open the box you see all the bags, clearly labelled with numbers, as you build you open one set of bags at a time, ie say for example in this photo I would open the bags labelled 3 next, I think that is similar with most brick kits

The kits come with a box with the lights and cables, which I havent included in this post, its kind of a boring orange box the magic of the light happens when you install them
and well printed instruction manuals with very clear instructions which I find easy to follow
the only issue i have and more so if my eyes are tired is sometimes working out which color piece i should be looking for, especially if there are similar colors, say for example in this next photo different shades of bronw and orange.
But mostly I do not find that an issue and can work out which color pieces i need

Now onto the finished kit, as with most of their sets they come with minifigs some people really do not like them but I think they are so cool even if fiddly to put together especially the hands onto the arms
and Lots of cool details such as they little frog and can of soda in this next photo, althought I didnt get that sticker on as straight as I would have liked

now maybe not something everyone would share but the campground even has a toilet, and its clean, newly built and unused LOL

the tree was easy enough to build, but when i moved it to this spot to take photos I went into lumberjack mode knocked it over, for these photos I quickly rebuilt it, and when I move it later today to where I will display it, I will have to dismantle and rebuild the tree, as I didnt add on a few of the limbs and leaves and its looking barer than it should

IN conclusion I really enjoyed building this set, it has so many cool details and the lighting really makes it stand out especially when its a bit darker in the room

You are really getting into putting these kits together. Nice hobby to keep you busy surely. Do you havea shelf or display you keep them on?
Yeah I am kind of addicted tot hem LOL, yes I have 6 shelfs i setup in the basement to display them on
I would love to see a pic of that. I bet they all look real neat on display with the lighting and stuff.

That is a cool set! I love the details, it's too bad it has stickers rather than printed tiles but it is an amazing build! It even has it's own outhouse!
Smart move on keeping the boxes, if you ever do decide to sell a set having the box and manuals really will increase the demand.
I just can't get over how nice that set is, it really does put LEGO to shame!

The stickers arent so bad really, most I get on fine, some I have trouble gettign straight but it aadds to the challenge, that said I preferthe prined tiles

That's awesome that you have become a special customer of theirs! I love the mini airstream. Those things are pretty impressive. The only think I don't like about them is they don't have slide outs.
I think the airstream was my favorite part of this set, I did think of you and your camping trips as I built it
