Power outage ... now what ...

So we knew they would be working on the powerlines today , in our building , but they didn't mention that the carpark would also be locked down ...

And so my trip to the forrest and the hospital couldn't go as planned.

My wife had to go to the hospital to get her monthly injections in her eyes , it has to do with her diabetics , so i had to ask our daughter if she was able to help out .

Luckely she was willing to sacrifice her day and help her mom , and so while those two were away i had to kill my time somehow with any power or coffee .

I grabbed my camera bag that i had already packed for the forrest and grabbed 2 more macro lenses and started to play a bit on the balcony .

Not many flowers left this time of the year but .. i did manage to kill some time .

camera used : Sony A7IV
Lenses used : Sigma 105mm f2.8 DG , Laowa 25 mm Macro 2.5-5x magnification , and the Laowa 15mm F4.5 1:2 Macro

let's start with the Sigma 105mm lens .
1 ) a tiny white snowaster finally started to flower and some raindrops on it .

2 )and one of the last scabiosa flowers of this year also with some raindrops on the petals , we will get closer to those furthe on in the post .

3 ) a tiny snow aster flower bud opening up with some raindrops on the side

4 ) and another snow aster flower with raindrops on the petals

5 ) And there is our cat Jinx without any raindrops , we will see more of her at the end of the post .

6 ) time to use a differend lens the Laowa 15mm F4.5 1:2 Macro, you can get really close to the subjecty and still capture some of the surroundings .

Hi! You reminded me of my post yesterday when I saw that first photo of you... Each of the flowers is beautiful, and how you captured their light and vibes is phenomenal!
The cat, simply with the face of a big boss, hahaha

i see a differend type of aster in your post , there are many varieties in that family both from nature and cultivated. The aster flower in my post has a diameter of 1-2cm .

That is hoe my face looks when I see your photos, admiring your macro. ;)
I still not sure how to get that sharp macro while still looking really soft at the same time.

might be the lens , might be light or combination hard to tell , could be the extra pixels .

The cat's face in the 6th and 21st photo is like "hey, what the hell do you think you're doing?" 😂
Beautiful and epic captures as always.
