Snowy day
Snowy day in Vermont. We got 3-4 inches of new snow overnight. And it snowed most of the day today.
I cleared the driveway this morning thinking most of the snow was over but I guess I will be clearing more snow tomorrow 🙄
We went out snow shoeing this afternoon. It was a really nice day. Finally got up over 30F. Snow was falling but no wind. Nice gentle snowfall made for a quiet trek through the woods.
We tramped down our trail again. This snow is heavy and wet. Very different than the powder we got last week. But I will take the warmer weather, much nicer to be outside.
The snow obscured the mountains for most of the day.
Closer in, the trees are visible with some snow flakes falling. It is supposed to warm up some more this week. And no more snow for the rest of the week.
About the same weather here in Montreal... but very pretty in your area with the lake and the mountains. In the city it quickly becomes slush.

We got about 1/2" but it was nice not having to stoke stoves all day. It was cloudy but warmer.
We got more snow last night. Snow but warmer. Warmer is good 🙂

Too cold for my blood. Things are warming up here in Chicago nice and early... but I wonder how long it will last?
Chicago gets its share of cold. I remember being downtown in winter with the wind whipping in from the lake 🥶 I'm not sure how long but a solid month at least I'm afraid. The old timers here are saying this is a "normal" Vermont winter. We haven't had one like this since we moved here 5 years ago.
