Taking the scenic route : Mountains, roads, and sunshine !

Road trips are always memorable. I personally believe that if you are stressed and overburden then you must opt for a road trip. A road trip offer ultimate freedom, allowing us to set our own pace, take spontaneous detours, and discover hidden gems not found in guidebooks. I have been to many such trips during my office days. Almost every weekend me and my close friends hit the roads to travel to the nearest destination. We always carry a chillers box full.of beers to best the summer heat. We covered Jaipur, Haridwar, Manali, Shimla, Lansdowne and many other northern part of India through road trip. It has been while since I undertook a recent one until the last week when I accompanied my sister for a road trip to Jammu.

A simple road trip transform travel into a shared adventure, fostering deep bonding through long conversations and shared experiences, while offering breathtaking, up close views of changing landscapes. The Jammu road trip is a recent one which leaves a lasting imprint in the memory lane. The trip is different yet quite enjoyable. It was not accompanied by friends, yet the company of family members is worth for conversation. This road trip in Jammu is enjoyable. I.never been to this place before. Earlier my visit is limited to a temple, but this time I went ahead to enjoy other tourist spot and preferred road trip to cover the destination. The road trip is beyond my imagination, it offers a scenic blend of spiritual journeys, lush landscapes, and hilly terrain, serving as the gateway to Kashmir.

Jammu offers a cool and comfortable climate that is ideal for leisure trips. The region features verdant forests and high altitude spots. We we were travelling up above the mountain. If we look around we find ourself surrounded by hills from all sides. There were less traffic on the roads which made it a smooth experience. We were on a hired cab to avoid any risk of routes and mis happening. As travelling in mountain require good amount of experience.

Sitting in front seat beside the driver allows me to snap some frontal view of the roads. The driver was a young boy so did not take long time mingle with us. He was charming, and less spoken guy. He made sure our ride and experience remain a memorable one. We managed to cover over trip in over 3 hrs. But the trip was never tiring because of the scenic view that makes our trip a pleasant and more interesting.

The drive offers dramatic views of the Himalayas and passes through picturesque spots. Roads were well developed, offering a smooth driving experience. In all those 3 hrs we never felt tired and enjoyed every bit of the ride.
