A new group of young mallard ducks. 🦆🦆🦆

Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all! Today I'm here to share with you some pics I took this morning, while me and my hubby @paolobeneforti were walking in relax along the side of the small river close to my home. Here it's an hot day and so we thought it was better to enjoy a couple of hours outside before it was too hot.
You have to know weeks ago we watched there the newborns of the mallard family that lives there since some years (to be honest, I can't say if there are the same ones or if every year some of the new one decide to stay here instead of the older ones 😁 ). A very nice scenes was in front of us: there were 10 mallard babies, very very sweet while they were swimming just back to their mom!
This morning, walking between the trees in that green area close to the river, I watched again all those 10 ones and now they are all similar to a female one because they will change their bodies (female and male have different colors, the adult male mallards have iriscent feathers on the neck and on the wings) just after some months. They are swimming and playing while their mom (I thought it was her mom because she was a little bigger then the other ones) was watching them from a corner of the river.

To walk in the nature always give me a lot of sources of inspiration and maybe one of my next paintings will be about one of these ducks. ^_^
