Today's Downtown Truckee, California Sunrise

It was another beautiful morning in Historic Downtown Truckee, California! Today's sunrise was a spectacular one, and I was very happy that I happen to have the camera in my car. When I saw the colors starting, I parked, grabbed my camera, hopped out, and started shooting. It was a quick shoot, I did not have my tripod or any lens filters with me, so I was able to be very mobile and I moved around a lot for many different compositions. These two were my favorites.

Shot with a Canon R5 MarkII and a 24-105mm lens, set at 53mm. The camera's ISO was 6400, the shutter speed was 1/100 of a second with image stabilizer on, and the lens aperture was f/4.

I got a quick shot of this church as well. I've been wanting to get a decent photo of the church for quite some time. Finally...success!

Even without your tripod and the lens filter, the results came out pretty decent!

Thank you! The Canon R5MKII image sensor is pretty amazing for capturing the shadows and the highlights, including that bright artificial light.
