Today in Downtown Reno, Nevada
I had some errands to run in Reno, Nevada today. Of course, I brought my camera. I'm rarely without it... I knew the trees would be blooming with white and pink flowers, however, I missed the peak of it and there were only a few left :( Oh well. I did get this shot of the arch in Downtown Reno with one white blooming tree in the frame. It's a keeper!
Shot with the Canon R5 MarkII and a 24-105mm lens, handheld. The ISO was 800, the shutter speed was 1/200, and the lens aperture was f/18. A small aperture because I wanted the sign and the trees to both be in sharp focus.
Spring is looking beautiful around here! Thank you for looking and I hope you all have a great day.

Oh... and by the way... I bought a drone! I have been practicing with it. I've been studying to get my Part 107 commercial drone pilots license. And I look forward to posting aerial photos soon.
I forgot about the Reno sign. Not as famous as the Vegas sign but still very cool 🙂 My son has a commercial drone license. But no drone haha He works for a engineering firm and they paid for the license and he flys their drone sometimes.
It's an especially cool sign at night, but I was hoping for more trees in bloom.
Very cool! I've realized that the test is not going to be an easy one. Trying to teach this old dog new tricks...
